About Us
At Jennellepee Art School, we believe that everyone has creativity inside them — and we’re here to help it shine. Our mission is to give students of all ages and skill levels a place to explore their imagination, build confidence, and discover the joy of creating art.
We know that art is more than just drawing or painting — it’s a way to express emotions, relax, and grow as a person. That’s why our teaching approach balances skill-building with creative freedom. Students learn important techniques step by step, while still having the freedom to choose subjects and projects that truly inspire them. This allows each student to feel ownership of their work, stay motivated, and take pride in what they create.
In every class, students receive guidance that’s tailored to their individual needs and goals. Whether they dream of mastering a certain medium, improving their drawing skills, or simply enjoying time to be creative, our teachers meet them where they are and help them grow at their own pace.
Our school welcomes both young and adult students — from children discovering art for the first time to teens building their portfolios, and adults reconnecting with their creative side or learning something entirely new. No matter where you are in life, we believe it’s never too early or too late to enjoy the benefits of art.
Our founder, Jenjira Pintong (Jen), has a deep passion for art and a love for teaching. She’s seen firsthand how art helps people of all ages develop patience, focus, and self-esteem — qualities that enrich every part of life. With years of experience teaching and caring for students, she designed Jennellepee Art School to be a welcoming, encouraging space where everyone feels valued and supported.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Jenjira Pintong (Jen), the founder of Jennellepee Art School.
I’m originally from Thailand and moved to the United States in 2015 as an au pair. What began as a journey to care for children and experience a new culture eventually became a lifelong path rooted in education, creativity, and community. After completing the two-year au pair program, I continued my education and earned my degree from the University of Houston.
I have over eight years of experience working with children, including more than two years of teaching, and I’ve spent decades creating art and crafts as a personal passion. Working with children has always come naturally to me, and teaching art allows me to combine structure, creativity, and emotional growth in a meaningful way.
What I love most about teaching is watching students go through the entire creative journey. They often start a project feeling excited and confident. Along the way, they may feel frustrated or want to give up—but with encouragement, patience, and courage, they keep going. When they finally finish their artwork, the pride they feel in themselves is incredible. That moment—when a student realizes “I did this!”—is why I teach.
I believe art is more than just learning how to draw or paint. It helps children relax, build confidence, problem-solve, and express themselves in ways that academics alone cannot. My goal is to create a space where students feel supported, inspired, and free to be themselves.
Jennellepee Art School is my dream of creating a place students love—a place they look forward to coming to, where learning art truly means creating joy.
